Printing

There are four networked printers at NRCC.

For most printing purposes use either Eleanor or Merry.

You can print directly to the printer using IPP or LPD protocols, or (preferably) you can use the print queue on print.nrcc.noklab.com. The main advantage to using the print queue is for tunneled clients. For example, if you have a laptop computer tunneled to the Nokia Intranet, you can add print.nrcc.noklab.com to your static Friend list (that's 38.97.70.8) and printing should work to whichever printer you select.

From Windows, access the print queue with something like \\print.nrcc.noklab.com\Eleanor. You will almost certainly need to download the correct drives for your particular machine from Xerox http://www.support.xerox.com.
