Sep 2008 Monthly Highlights

Lot of progress on OFDM work. TX is working, RX has some issues. Alfred is modifying the synchronizer and few other parts of OFDM. Elliott is modifying the gain control and other parameters to get the FPGA working.
Gopal has completed a version of 802.11 MAC that can be used along with the OFDM Phy. Currently it is a simple mac with mechanisms for packet fragmentation and basic access deferral procedure. RX packet processing is in progress.
Nirav, Jamey and Gopal have outlined a model of synchronizer. Initial implementation is ready. Need to test it and connect it to HW/SW.
